Community Partners

Surviving The Odds Project has directly collaborated with the following incredible community partners to provide our program:

  • The Multicultural Center of Marin (MCM), formerly known as the Canal Welcome Center, will be providing fiscal sponsorship until STOP acquires 501(c)(3) non-profit status.  We are also partnering to provide a radio broadcast of STOP music on TayRadioMarin.

  • Legion Beats will be providing recording studio space and its engineers will mix and master the songs created by our participants.

  • The Community Media Center of Marin (CMCM) trained the STOP Team in music video production and editing. They will also broadcast music videos on their local tv channel and live stream the graduation performance.

STOP will maintain an extensive network of other community programs and resources, and provide referrals based on the needs of our participants. Here are some of the premier organizations we have partnered with:

  • Opening The World (OTW) is a program designed to empower youth and expose them to a world beyond their own, through volunteer, leadership, educational and cultural experiences within their communities and abroad .

Collaboration is valuable because it helps us transcend our individual limits and create something greater than ourselves.
